Hi, Right, I am making a website centre aligned similar to this one: http://www.ntsc-uk.com/newspro/viewnews.cgi?newsid1019435055,53628, As you can see, it has a 3 pixel boarder around it, but it also have the top sides CURVED. This is what I need help making. Basically I want to make a 'corner' piece like this and it has to be a 3 pixel black line. Can any of you Photoshop pros tell me how I can do this? Also, if that is easy enough, how could I make it so the inside part of the curved line was transparent, and the outside part of the curved line was white? If anyone cann help me on either problem, I would be extremely grateful. |

LOL...I could use theirs and edit it, but thats not how I do things. If I know how to do it myself, it may be a extremely useful technique for the future. So anyone who can help me, please reply. |

well...for the rounded "frame", make a usual rectangular selection, then take "select"->"modify"->"smooth"..and choose a pixel-value... That makes the selection "round"... and for the white/transparent - thing, just stroke the outline of the selection, and transform the selection afterwards, cutting the inside - part..and making it transparent (opacity:40%..or something..)..and leaving the rest and making it white.... |
