how can I fill a object with a bitmap in illustrator10? I know it is very easy in coreldraw,but......

I don't work in illustrator, but in macromedia freehand, you can import the image.... place it over the vector image you want to fill and perform the "cut" command.... then select the vector image to be filled and from the >EDIT menu select "Paste inside". I would think it is similar in illustrator. however: I suggest the .tif format over the windows bitmap. |
