Hi - I have what is probly a really dumb question - every time I click in a new document to create text the background changes to a color I don't want - how do I control this? Tried changing background colors on left tool bar and on right in layers, still does it. Thank you! Jami |

It's because you have the type mask tool selected. When you click on the text tool...Look for the one that is solid black instead of the dashed lines...Use that one and the bg color will stay the same...btw..its not actually changing the color when it does that...its just putting a bg down so u can see when your typing the selection...Let me know if u have any questions
