Hey, i've got a very strange problem with PS6.0. Whenever i'm using PS6.0 for a short time, like 10 minuts, my internet connection sort of stops. I've got cable internet, and i have a network (LAN) at home. Iam not working on the server, but on a computer connected to the network (LAN). Iam using Win2K, sometimes i've got a strange message like "not enough quote" or something like that, when i try to open a page. So i bassicaly can't use PS and use internet like, MSN or visit pages at the same time. I have to close PS and than every thing works fine again. I've tryed to play a bit with the "Memory & Image Cache" but that didn't do much :( Anyone got the same problem or any idea's ?? |

sounds to me like your machine doesnt have enough memory to run photoshop and still have enough for internet explorer. what are the specs on your computer? if that is the problem then try closing a bunch of other crap that you probably have open (look in the bottom right corner, if there are more than 10 icons, thats alot..) |

Just found out that MSN keeps working. But IE en stuff like KaZaA just stops. Specs; - Celleron 566@850 mhz - 196 MB - 40 GB It could be a memory problem. But the only stuff iam using is PS6.0, MSN & WinAmp. Nothing else is running on the background. |

You may want to check your system management. See if any other programs stop responding. There are some bs programs that any Windows OS runs that quit responding, and take the whole computer with it. Or at least some other programs at least. Oh, and RensM... Tell me how you overclocked your celeron. I can't figure out how. :( |

No no no... I am pretty sure that you don't have the 6.01 update installed. There were some issues with that problem that the update seemed to fix. Give it a shot and let us know if it worked ;)
