I wanted to ask which 1 could be a good tecnique... I have this problem: - a shape behind some "jail" bars - these bars are shadowing towards the inside - HOW do I make the linear shape of 1 bar to follow the shape inside... I mean, when the bar goes straight up and it reaches the naked shoulder it should bend on the shoulder... so how do I make the line to bend? Shall I redraw it (painful) or is there a tecnique? 10x for helpin' me :D |

Make a new layer, and yes, DRAW it yourself.. and make it multiply and so on.. Use the pentool to get the curve right.. It shouldn´t be THAT hard to do... |

You could always try distort>shear, but i doubt the results will be as accurate as you'd like...If you want it to look right I'd go w/ what paavo said and just redo it.

In my humble opinion everything You do is practice. At least come to me. Even when I do somethin meant to be used, I concider it practice. Thus I have not the overall knowledge of just doin' things. Everything is a new challenge....

...I fully agree with you! I come from "web graphics" but I love to challenge myself with photoshop that has become my fav program since ever!!! Many times I lose planty of time fooling around forums and the program itself, I think that'll lead somewhere even though the dumb question always comes out... :D |

hey! I thought about it overnite :D IO think today I'll try this: vectorial shape + rasterize + blur + multiply or 60-70% of level percentage I think it'll work better than hand effort :D:D:D cya |
