If I create an image on a transparent background and save it as a .jpeg is the transparent area clipped out or is it changed to white or another color?

It needs to be 25KB in size or under, though. It's currently 43KB. |

When you do that make sure the transparency box is checked (if you need to have transparent pixels). Also play around with the transparency dither settings to get the best results. An alternative method to create an image w/ transparency is to go to Help > Export Transparent Image and choose the appropriate answers in the wizard that comes up. Hope this helps...
