Hi new to this so bare with me please Im doing a basic web site for my Old man and he wants submarine shaped buttons as you can see HERE sorry but the forum disallows the i in my url so theres a star in its place the question is I have tried to draw the shape freehand but it looks jagged and out of shape and very very FLAT is there some way of doing this shape and give it some feeling of roundness ? I have ps6 and am very new at this any help much appreciated |

giving it a gaussian blur of maybe .1 or .2? might work |

Banish, I would try to draw a rectangular marquee, Fill it with black and use the elliptical marquee and shift+select and then select inverse, clear to get the rounded edges right. Then draw a square at the top of the submarine to try and make it look right. I'm guessing that you dont know what the heck I'm talking about(I'm not even sure that I know anymore) so I'm including this link to a pretty good tutorial on using selection tools to achieve smooth corners...Hope this is of some help to you. |
