I was trying to recreate the big light effect as shown on this wall by shadowness http://www.shadowness.com/wallpapers/insanitydimension_800x6 and ran into a bit of trouble. It looked fairly straight foward but when trying it out in PS i can't get it quite right. Any suggestions? |

I'm not quite sure, either... It looks like they chromed an image, possibly, blurred it, then set some dodging on top of that... I dunno... but hey, if you figure it out, please PM me or write a tutorial! :D

^thats what i was thinking :-P look like color dodge>blur blah blah blah ...guess not cuz i know you duo and you probably already tried that.

I'd say keep it on a layer by itself, then copy that into about five or so layers, merge some or all of them, then saturate the crap out of it - ? :confused: that dude is damn good. |

I think Zazi is on the right track...I think I also see a crapload of motion blur at the same angle as the light appears to be coming from...
