er yer helllllllllp....im trying to follow the tutorials but i must be really dense today as i cant even follow the first boxed instruction...like how do i set the rgb...i cant see the option for render under,,layer/type/render....not having a good day today me thinks:(

You mean the RGB value?
If so, click your color, and enter in the R: xxx G: xxx B: xxx, where xxx equals the number value.
