I have a few question regarding creating web design using photoshop5. First of all how do u preview in browser when u done creating, and i heard that imageready has a part to play in it. I'm confused now, since we are using photoshop why can't we preview a browser in it or am I missing something here. I'm still pretty new in photoshop but I can see that it is an awesome software and that can help in my web design, which I'm currently using frontpage, it gets pretty boring so pls anyone enlighten me. I'm eager to hear any advice. Thank u |

I'm doing something similiar, in that I am updating my basic site so that it incorporates graphix created by me in PS. Sorry, but what is your understanding of what PS is? Cause you can't create a web page in it (unless you create a background image as a template, for placing and aligining elements on the web page), it does not create HTML. Which is what a web page is. So all you can do, like what I am doing, is create your basic elements such as banner, menus, buttons, nav bars, splash etc as individual images and then use your FrontPage (poor, I hate MS - use Dreamweaver) app to composite it into a decent layout. BTW - Did you know that some web servers don't host Frontpage extensions!!?!! Laters. |

Hey guys...Try this tutorial out ... It shows you in 8 lessons how to build a website using Photoshop and Imageready. He's only on part 7 of 8, but he's usually good about getting new content up pretty quick. Hope this helps.

goggle, you said PS5, right? ...That version doesn´t have ImageReady in it yet, so you can´t "make a webPage" in PS alone. My suggestion is that you "draw" the whole layout in PS, and slice it manually using guides to assist you. Then you put the slices together using tables (notepad is best, but something like dreamWeaver should create a readable code..). That´s it. If you´re a n00b to HTML, you can read a short and very basic tutorial about tables in HTML at auxiliumStudios. Hope that helps :D
