back round images. showing up as white

well here is my problem everything i save seomthing as jpeg w/o a background (transparant).. it gives me a WHITE background, no matter what i do, what can i do to just have the image?

It is impossible to save a JPEG with a transparent background. It isn't supported in the file type.
Use a GIF or PNG instead. They both support transparent backgrounds
