ok i need to know what settings to use when you use pixel fonts because mine always look like crap. ive tried all of the anti-alias settings, including "none" but then the font just looks disfigured. is there a particular size you have to make each font for it to look right?

Make sure anti-alias is set to none. Then yes, there are certain sizes. They are usually 5, 8, 10, 12. It depends on the font though. If the font has a readme file included in the zip, it will usually say which sizes or which multiples it will look best in. (for example, 5, 10, 15, etc.) Otherwise you can just scroll thru the sizes until you find one that isn't distorted, then use multiples of that number if you need it bigger. |
