grass tutorial

I'm going through the grass/dirt tutorial and it's looking great, but when I shrink it down it looks like a smudge. How can I shrink it down to a 32X32 and have it look as well as the tumbnail for the tutorial?

It will all blur together when you shrink it. That's just the way it works. The only way to make it work with the 32 x 32 size is to make it that size originally. Any resizing of the image will blur or distort it.
