well im new to photoshop and im wondering how do i make lines so thay they stand out and look like this, very even and have cool looking "tabs" or your what not, or cuts like this one right here i saw in the site. `> http://www.rognan.net/~thomlie/screen.jpg like right there in the middle, im hoping that it would be something simple and not somthing i have to "measuere" out :P but anyways, another question, is how do i get the colors to fade like that? its like another shade or something sorta like a blend, i haven't been able to figure it out. anyways. thanks by the way, the way i make my lines stand out liek that, takes a long time, the way i do it *which im sure most people think is way too long* is by, makeing :newlayer: 1, then making :newlayer: 2 draw a line, and stroke it, then flatten the :newlayer: 's :P. anyone willing to help me out? thanks ;) |

what lines do you mean? Those in the news box? You could do that by making lines with the line tool and than erase them with your eraser tool. Or you could make lines with the line tool and than make selections with your rectangular marquee tool and delete parts of the line. To make straight lines press shift while you draw a line. |

Hard?... you can't expect something to be easy if you wanna learn rite?? Okay.. tip : use the grid and check snap to grid use the line tool and create your boxes... Its not that hard after you've tried successfully. |
