Anyone know how to take horizontal text from Photoshop and 'wrap' it around in a circle or semicircle? For example, how would one create the text: 'In God we Trust' written on a Penny? Is this even possible? THANKS in advance! |

Depends on what version of PS you're using. If you're using 6, it's pretty easy, there's an option in the options bar when the text tool is selected. If not, you'll need to make a path. Hit Google for text and paths. |

Yes, but it requires work, not the click of a button like PS6 has. :D Try here: http://www.designsbymark.com/pstips/text_circletexta.shtml |

nice job. now to make it better... just an observation. take it for what it's worth. the spacing of individual letters in the logo need to be tweaked manually – especially the gap between G and R as also R and A to match the rest. also, all letters are not equidistant from the semi-circle (don't appear concentric). you might need to have two concentric circles on another underlying layer (temporary) to act as a guide. hope i have explained myself clearly. cheers! |
