Hi, I have two simple questions: - How can I draw a curve? I played around with the pen tool but I couldn't get it to work. - How can I create an indented looking line. An example is in the link below in the small divider lines in the navigation menu. http://signonsandiego.com Thanks so much |

I remember a complicated tutorial once that described how to make insets, but there is an easy way to everything. open up photoshop and create a new document. Now, make a long, rectangular selection and fill it with a dark grey, not too dark though. Now that you have that set up, create two new layers. Select the pencil tool and make the brush the 1px square one. select white as your foreground color and black as your background color. zoom in on your rectangle and select one of your blank layers. draw a 1pixel wide line from the top of the rectangle to the bottom of it. Next, make black the foreground color and draw a line from top to bottom right next or 1pixel over from the white line. Voila, indentation. |
