A newbie seeking for HELP from EXPERTS??

How to i make a graphic like this???

there is no real way to say 'this is how this graphic was made' just look around for tutorials anywhere.. teamphotoshop has plenty of great tutoials and there are more places such as (excuse me pank):

if you dont like the tuts on any of those pages, follow the links and find a page you like.. but for the graphic,
looks like scanlines in the text, some kind of water texture, a vanishing shadow and blended a plain picture of a chain in the background. hope this helps.
