LE to 6.0.1?

my friend has photoshop LE, and i didn't know
what it was so i searched for it on the adobe site
and it came up w/ photoshop elements...now i know
that that is...but somewhere it hink it
said something about it being v. 5.0 or something
so does that mean it's Photoshop 5.0 or its elements,
or was the elements just a follow-up link?

anyways could she use that to upgrade to 6.0.1?

Photoshop LE is like Photoshop Lite. It's a watered down version. Nothing like 5.0. I think you can upgrade to 6.0, but it isn't much of a price reduction.

That was my 1st real experience with Photoshop, was Adobe Photoshop 5 LE.

I got it free with a hard drive purchase, and again with a video card purchase, so if anybody wants a copy, let me know and I'll send it to you....I surely don't need 2 of them. As a matter of fact, I don't need either of them...Photoshop sucks.
