TGA and DDS Files |

Well, my friend says he can open files with the tga and dds extensions....but I can't seem to. It will start PS but thats it, no error or anything....any one have advice?

DDS image files are not handled natively by Photoshop. That's a game developer's image proprietary format. Go here and go down to the Graphics Convertor 3 1.2 link to download a DDS file format plug-in TGA, otherwise known as the targa image format should have no problem opening up in PS and if you are having issues, I'm not quite sure why. It must be some weird version of a TGA file which is not a standard format. |

I actually found the DDS plug-in last night, thanks anyways. And the tga files open is PSP, so they aren't some odd format. I'll keep trying with them.
