Achieved?

Hey i was wondering about a few things:

on the site http://www.thelab-intl.com/ when you enter the main site and the little window pops up, the bubbles on the left side of the screen, how are they achieved? alot of sites use many great 3d renders like this and was wondering, its not photoshop, so what is it? if u can help me out please reply to this message

well these days who knows, with all the software out there. But, Im guessing one of the 3d apps. Bryce, 3Dmax, ??????, but probably 3D max.

I didn't look at the portfolio but it might say what apps they use for client work.
