hi, i was wondering if anyone has any idea on how this picture was done..

the zoom part on the left i can prety much figure out but its those circles and how everything 'pours' into the black hole that i am interested in learning.

it was done in pure photoshop by the wa.y.

p.s. i am pretty experienced w/photoshop so you can use whatever terms.

also, i am pretty sure that its done with distort filter but i dont know where to begin.

You can emulate that by using the radial blur filter in Photoshop.

The results you get may or may not look as good as what was depicted there.

radial blur doesnt make it grainy if you pick best....

ok obviously it is radial blur. i didn't think i had to mention that hehe. see, look at it's perspective and how the waves pour into the black hole (specifically coming in from the bottom left)

rule of thumb

if a link doesn't work.

a) copy paste the url into the address bar
b) drag the link into the address bar
