Other grid types...

What is the best way to go about making diamond and/or hexagon grids? Or any other grid type (besides square)..

Create a 10 x 10 pixel image.

Draw your shape, maybe a hexagon.

Then define that as a PATTERN.

On a blank canvas, use marquee selection to draw size of grid. Select the fill / gradient tool and select PATTERN not FOREGROUND as contents of fill.

Now do the fill. Woooooow !! Is that what you want?
