Hi Everyone, Can anyone point me in the right direction. I trying to find out how to do a flare like/super nova effect. I can't seem to find a tutorial on it anywhere. There's someone on this forum that has such an effect on his sig, Good Christian is the name I believe. Thanks for any replies. Peace. |

open whatever you want to add the effect to, then hold alt and click new layer button, then select mode > color dodge and check the box "fill with color-dodge neutral (black)" leave opacity at 100%, fill the area with white paint bucket, go to layer, layer style, blending options, put fill opacity at 35%

Hey thanks SniB, I'm wanting to make the effect more dramatic like a really big supernova. What would I need to do? I tried just adding more color dodge layers but it's not working. Thanks again. Peace. |

hmm you could try like.... filter>render>lens flare or change the fill opacity on the color dodge from 35 to like 70 |
