3D Text?

Whats up, Im new to this board and am hoping someone can help me out. I was wondering how you make 3D text or obects in PS, for example the logo thats at the top of this screen to the right of the words "Community Forum". Thanks in advance for any help.

i do not think that was made in ps i think that was something made on a 3d maker. it might be possible to use 3d transform in your filters, but im not sure that it will come out that good.

Really? bummer, i thought sure there was some way to do it.

In all likelihood. The 3D logo on here was a vector path, which could have been created in Photoshop, exported out as illustrator paths, and then imported into a 3D rendering program and extruded in 3 dimensions.

Stop posting multiple threads asking the same question. It will not make your question get answered any faster. In fact it will probably be slower because it's extremely annoying when people double post. While you are waiting for someone to answer, try searching on www.google.com for 'photoshop 3d text tutorials'
