Hi. I use to have Photoshop 5.5 on my old computer. I have a new computer now and have installed 5.5 again. My problem involves MS Sans Serif font. I can not get it to let me create bold text in this font. I have reinstalled all the MS Sans Serif fonts with no sucess. Any ideas on how I can get this to work? I need this font. Thanks.

You could just make it Faux Bold...

Nope. Tried it. It didnt give me the same sort of effect. I was working on a project on my old computer and now I can't finish it on the new one because I do not have that font or something. The thing is I do have the MS Sans Serif font. I'm running xp. Any other ideas?

yeah ive had trouble with that font too, it wont let me anti-alias it...very weird

its what makes text look like its smooth all around its edges, and clears it up at smaller sizes
