I just started photoshop 6.0 2 weeks ago

Is there a tutorial or can someone explain to me how to do put a texture into the text of something? Do i make the texture a pattern and then put it in?




any help would be much appreciated

i figured it out finally

I made the text as a mask and then did a second fill layer with the pattern that i wanted.

there's several ways to do it... I myself would rather use clipping groups. Mostly because clients are notorious for changing their minds.
