I'm not sure if this post should be here, but I figured since I am new to photoshop, there wasn't a better place. My question is the following. I have seen many sites that do the following. Say for instance, you have a blue background and you have some image in that background. I would like to know how they get that image to be the same color as the background. It's doesn't seem like it's a transparency. Do they mess with the hue controls. Is there some option in photoshop that will adapt the photo to the bg color? I can find some examples if you didn't follow what I said. Thanks a bunch guys |

Yep, Image >adjust >hue and saturation Check the "colorize" checkbox, and then move the sliders to adjust the Hue to the color you want. Then set the saturation and brightness of the color. |

So you just adjust that till you get the img as close as you can.

Actually you "CAN" first go into your color pallet, punch in the hex value, write down the HSL values, and put them after you click the colorize box.
