I've yet to really master the "actions" process, but I think it's time to learn.

I need to take a folder of about 55 .BMP images and save them as .JPG. No resizing involved.

Can anyone walk me throught this process?

I'm using version 6.01.

Open a BMP file

In the actions pallet start a new action, and start recording.

Go thru the motions of saving the file as a JPG.

Stop recording

File >Automate >Batch

Select your action

Point it to the folder you want it to take the images from.

toward the bottom, in the "destination" section, check the "Override "Save In"...." checkbox and choose the folder where you would like the new files to go using the "CHOOSE" button.

Tell it to GO!
I shot this from the hip, if it don't work post back.
