Help with matching bird with background |

I have a landscape picture, which I have pasted a seagull on it.. But I'm having trouble matching the seagull with the background, lighint, color a.s.o. So if anyone could help me, tell me what I can do...that would be nice |

only thing I see is if you lighten up the top of wings you should be all set oh and maybe downsize it a bit

Hmm that might work or select your area and use image brightness

You could also add a new layer of 50% grey and use a blending mode of overlay. use a soft brush set at about 25% flow and paint with white to lighten, or black to darken. This is non destructive to your image when you are happy hit shift>control>alt>N>E to form a new layer af all visible layers

I had a few minutes so messed around with it, I selected the seagul and copied it then pasted it right over the original and made layer mode "Sceen"............it came out really well.
