I know exactly what you mean....I have been looking for something like that for a while now and i havent really found anything but if you find on let me know.....what i was thinking that they do is just do some general coloring of like the colors that you want it to look like and then do some blurring and smudging....thats about all i can think of....but i can never get it to look right.......lol......

I get the books from digital vision, the site your 2nd link refers to. The artists who do that stuff mention that they use a ton of 3D Studio Max. I'm guessing they import almost all of it into photoshop, then mess with layer effects, but I'm not sure. Do a search for wireframe graphics on this site, there is some pointers there for making some of those effects - although I think you'll have to import most of it from other apps or scans, unfortunately. You're right, though - those effects are damn smooth. |

It's all just blurry photos and blending modes. And then some 3d renderings imported into photoshop. This question has been asked a bazillion times. Just learn the basics of photoshop, then you should be able to figure out how to do that type of stuff on your own.

http://www.modernstyle.nu/ <----could potentially be all done in photoshop. Nothing strikes me as being too terribly 3D rendered. The other IS definitely a render brought into photoshop and edited. This question has indeed been asked tons. Mostly by Slippy ![]() Anyway, I see so much of this sorta stuff these days that it isn't cool either. Pretty much all art styles have been exhausted of ideas, but some of these websites go to the extreme with eye candy renders. |

I don't care if its overused, if i could do stuff like that i'd die a happy lil DPQ. *chuckles* But hes right, if you look at the image you can kinda tear it apart and see whats it made of. Theres no easy one-click trick to do this sorta stuff. I don't even want to imagine how many layers that took Alot of Color doging. some background lines. Motion blurs and transform might have been used to create the. Some weird funky strokes using your mouse and pen tablet. |
