This button has this nice background, and I'm sure the background of this button was cut out from another big background. So I was wondering if anybody can tell me how to make a background like that.

And they are all asking almost exactly the same question...

Just take a couple of photos, blur them together, then play with the blending modes. If you would just experiment a little, I think you would be pleasantly surprised with what you can come up with.

Any time you see an effect that you want to make, try it out in photoshop and think about how you might make it by using the techniques we've already explained to you. That's the only way you will learn anything is by experimenting.

Deker's 100% right Slippy. Every post you're making is "how do I re-create this effect". Its time to stop asking this same thing over and over and actually try to re-create some of these effects using what we've tried to tell you already.
