Vertical Color Problem

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the photo posted below. Looking at the image from left to right, approximately 3/4 of the way over there's a vertical color separation (most easily visible in the cloud), at which point the blue abruptly changes from a deep hue to a lighter tone.

Is there a way to fix that to where the color blends seamlessly?

I'm a relative Photoshop novice, so as detailed instructions as possible would be greatly appreciated. (I have CS3.)

Thanks!

To me, I do not see the issue in this photo, could you circle or mark the area?

I've circled it in the image below. It's a subtle shift (you might have to view it from an angle), but it's noticeable enough that I'd like to fix it before having it blown up and framed. If you still can't see it I can up the resolution.

Thanks!

... it might be easier to spot--now that you know where it is--in the original image (without the circle). The 2nd is a compression of a for-web compression, so it's starting to degrade quite a bit.

I think I see it (not sure ) but how about using your smudge tool(color mode) at about 35% give or take a few and try smudging the color over the area in question
