For a long time, I have looked for the best ways of enlarging images and I believe I finally stumbled onto it (took me long enough). At work, I use Genuine Fractals Print Pro when I need help making something bigger (such as clipart or for print), but take a look at this. Stair Interpolation Not only is this a free Photoshop downloadable action, from what I've seen and tried myself, it is one of the best, most useful things to come along for enlargement in PS. I have noticed that this action/technique does not do at good a job as blowing up illustrations as Genuine Fractals interpolation, but it is dead-on the best for photographic enlargement. Passing this info along for those who also don't rely on a single bicubic photo blow-up like myself. |
