Hi. I work using Elements 7, and last night it stopped working, and i cannot work out why. What happens is : I plug my camera in, import the raw files, and in the browser, nothing is showing, just a thumbnail with a hourglass in. Also, it is doing this with downloaded or modified files, the thumbnail is just a hourglass. Double clicking it brings up the preview, but i really need to be able to see the thumbs. I have tried backing up and reinstalling, and that did not work. Does anybody have any ideas as to why this has happened? |

Hi, Dunnie! I don't know a lot about this, but perhaps the device driver for the camera needs to be re-installed or updated? Might also try copying the files from the camera to your hard drive and then opening them in Elements. It also might help you to get a better reply if you add the make and model of camera you're using to your original post. |
