Rectangular Marquee Tool is rounded at corners, please advise.

Rectangular Marquee Tool is rounded at corners in CS4 when highlighting a section of an image, please advise. It will not highlight a crisp rectangle to copy and paste.

generally what i have found when the rectangular tool has rounded corners... is that my feather value is not zero .... if you have it above zero your corners will be rounded.... and if it a very high value you won't be able to copy it...
