Actually I think averything else is overlaying the "fire" Make that fire pattern and put it in the background of an image and then put images on layers over that "fire" layer, change the image layer's blend modes to what ever you think look cool. There really isn't a certain way to come up with that effect. |

Yes, that's correct tornupinside, however, I was still sort of looking for an answer that would get me as close to it as possible since I'm doing one almost like it except with different kind of flame sheets, Mr. Bogus, do you have a comment on how it was done?

I agree with Torn. The flames in the background, if there are any (its incredibly hard to tell in that picture), are just sitting there, and somebody took the cartoon pics and overlayed them on top. Not hard at all.
