I use Photoshop 10.0.1 and Mac 10.5.7. Lately when I've tried to use the Magic Wand tool, with nothing already selected, with the New selection box clicked, with Contiguous clicked, and with the Tolerance set to some low number like zero, I end up with most of a layer selected as if I had chosen a very high tolerance. What's going on?

I tried duplicating your problem but can not,I suggest deleting the preferences file that solves lots of problems http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401600.html (I leaned that from Hawkeye) and it is a great remedy to lots of hangups with PS |
