Help: Pictures load scrambeld / triangular

I'm brand new to this. When I try to load a picture, I get this


If I zoom to 200% it goes away. What am I doing wrong.

hi,
not sure if i can help but will try....

but first need some info....
a. what format is the file in
b. what version of PS your using..
c. what the image size.
d. does this happen with just this image or others.. and if others is it with just single type of format or all kinds of image formats??????
e. also your pc stats... sometimes that can help....
f. have you tried opening the image in other programs such as your mspaint or your windows "picture and fax viewer"

the problem could be anything and the more info the easier to narrow down the problem

If you are using CS4 try updating your video drivers.
