shadow effects and slanting

Hey guys. Could really use some help here. Take a look at the attached image. I'm trying to make something similar, but with my own words and on a different angle. How can I use Photoshop to achieve this effect?

there are plenty of way to do that simply write your text add a drop shadow, maybe a bit of saturn style outer glow or stroke then use lens correction

Yep, iDad's got it right. As for the angle, once you get your text right, then you can rasterize it and free transform it using perpective or skew or whatever you're looking for (the posted pic uses perspective). To get the fade, use a layer mask, and then pick out a black to white gradient, then click and drag until you get the fade you want.
