Hi, Excuse my ignorance but how can I resize or change the radius of a rectangle after it has been drawn other than the free transform tool in Photoshop? In other words I would like to be able to resize rectangular shapes after drawn by inputting a new dimension, something like Flash where you just type in the dimensions you want. Would someone be so kind and explain me how this works in Photoshop or show me the easiest way to resize and change the corner radius of a rectangle. Thanks |

hi, I was hoping some one would have already answered...... i be interested in your question also , so be interested in some of the replies you get.... in the mean time.. this is what i know...lol.... as far as the box... after you have used the rectangular tool then you can use the freeform to put in your specific values. there at the top you should see boxes for hiegth and width... you can right click and choose the type of valu (ie; inches, pixals, etc) also you may need to click the lock symbol if you don't want to main aspect... I don't know if you can come back later to change the curve radius... as far as the round corners..... the only way i now at the moment to give a specific value for the radius of the corner curve.. is at the time you make your rectangle.. click the rounded rectangula tool.. at the top you can put in the radius you want .... now this link shows the different meathods to make a rounded curve.. now the 2nd meathod in the article you may be interented in... http://www.tutorio.com/tutorial/photoshop-round-corners this another meathod... http://www.neticulis.com/art/tutorials/photoshop/making_rounded_corners.php if you do a general search for "photoshop tutorial rounded corners" you'll get a lot of hit on various situations... hope i helped a little untill the experts come on board.. |
