Text not showing up, please help!!

Just recently (only as of this morning as far as I know, but possibly for a few days) my text won't show up in photoshop, no matter what I do. Instead I only see a VERY tiny tiny type-cursor and when I highlight my text by clicking the thumbnail in the layers palette my text is underlined. The underline effect usually goes away after I've canceled or approved the "changes".

I've made sure the resolution is 72. My background color is white, foreground is black and my text color is also black. No matter what size I change my font to, it doesn't show up. I've tried changing fonts, and I've tried applying and unapplying all of the text effects/settings. I tried rebooting my computer and uninstalling/reinstalling photoshop. My text in all my other programs (Word, notepad, Paint, etc.) works just fine.

Looks like the text is the same color. change it or add style to it

Yes, change it to other color, and the image is too small, i can not see clearly , try to some larger one in order to make your question done.
