rounded edges and shapes

hmm, you all might think im new to the game of design,
but I've been hackin' at it for around 4 years.

In my time I never really learned how to make "detailed" shapes, with rounded edges (and i dont mean circles)

Example, as simple as this

But I've seen it used by halovision.org . in almost all of his pieces, he does it so well and I dont know going about it.. Besides cutting and erasing taking away 3 hours of my time,

This tutorial is pretty good at explaining how I do rounded corners.


Or if you have Photoshop 6, you can use the rounded rectangle tool and rasterize the layers it produces. Though the results from this method aren't as smooth looking as the tutorial I link above.

Why dont u try to use the soft (illustrator)? It is easy for u to make a round corner.
