How to get dark hair white in CS4

Such a simple command, but can anyone tell me how to achieve this? I want to change dark hair, such as brunette, on a photograph to white hair, but the picture needs to retain its colour.

try image>adjustments>curves play around with that after selecting your area
there are other options there that will help also main thing select just the area you want to change first
