Moving images onto other windows

Each time when I move an image to another canvas, the image becomes very small. How do I stop the image from doing that?

I want the image to go on the canvas without resizing itself automatically, but instead me resizing it with ctrl+t and shift.

As far as I know, no tool/command/plugin can do this. This is entirely dependent on your original image size.

So alternatively,
you can increase image size of your source image, using IMAGE menu bar, before dragging it to your new canvas.
