I've figured out how to edit an "uneditable smart object" (Layer>Smart Objects>Edit) but can't get rid of the white background... I want it to be transparent. This is despite the fact that I've indicated transparent background in the New File specifications. Very frustrating... any suggestions out there?

If you want output image to have transparent background, just save file as "JIF" or "TIF". hope this helps! Mark, www.indovance.com |

If the background is from the smartobject, edit it and remove it. If it comes from the actual design, simply click on it's "eye" to turn it invisible. |
