Hey realizment, welcome! Ok there's a couple of basic ways to rotate objects in photoshop. Go to the Edit menu, then click and hold on Transform to bring up the submenu. From the submenu that pops up, select Rotate. Your obect will now display the editing handles. Take your cursor and place it just outside the one of the object's corners - you should see the cursor change from an arrow to what looks like a curve with arrow points on each end. This is your rotate cursor. Now you just have to click and rotate your object as you see fit. For a more precise rotation you can simply type the rotation (in degrees) into the context menu across the top.
