With the image below: http://fc24.deviantart.com/fs40/f/2009/050/2/4/DEMO_for_art_competition_by_dewone.jpg I want to add a pattern to the shirt he is wearing, how would I go about applying a pattern to only a specific region like that? And secondly I want to add some text that goes with the shape of his arm, How would I accomodate for the curves? Ina dvance, thankyou so much for any help, im just really stumped, oh and im using cs4 if that makes any difference to your answers |

I'd go for warp. 1. with the pen tool create a shape layer on top of your character, tweak it to fit the shirt. Add Pattern overlay style, use multiply bend mode. Rasterize this layer when happy with it, then warp it and tweak. 2. Create your text with the text tool, give it the size/shape you want, rasterize this text layer, and guess what? warp it. If you need more help, say so. |
