Hello, As you can probably see, I'm new to this forum... And it looks real nice! Anyways, to my point. Does anyone have a tutorial they can quickly write up, or know how to create the "stretch" effect on the left side of the woman's face (the thin stretched-out lines)? http://www.monkeywisdom.com/works/scarletletter.jpg Or, is there a filter that can achieve this effect? Thanks in advance! |

Or select the entire area you want that effect in Filter>Blur>Motion Blur |

Great, thanks! However, is there any way to delete that extra duplication in the 1st tip you posted (when you select, ctrl+alt, move right, etc.)? |

"extra duplication " I'm sorry, can you clarify? Do you mean like if you make a 5-pixel side selection theres about 4 pixels there that aren't in the 'stretched' line? Make a 1-pixel seletion |
