I was wondering if anyone has a good energy-effect for PS 5.5 you might want to share? I was browsing some site at work the other day and came across a wallpaper somewhere...anyways the guy used a really tight effect that almost looked like the glass filter but there was a lot of negative space to it. Don't know how else to explain it. Just post whatever you have and I'm sure someone out there will have what I'm looking for. Thanx.

you might give a link to the effect in question, because I haven't a clue what you are asking.

That's the prob, I can't find it again. So I was just asking people to share any techniques they might have for creating graphics that look like bands or waves of energy.

A really quick easy way is to just use the filter>distort>wave and then apply an outer glow layer style to it. That should make at least a decent wave of energy. |
