Look at this pic. Does anyone know how the pinkish "plasma fire" was created? Any help would be appreciated |

Color Dodge baby, Color Dodge. um look for the 'ray for light" tutorial. Get the glowing concept down. Remember, google is your friend. |

IT looks like the fire looking rises in the pink are the result of the "liquify" or the "smudge" tool, or a combination of both. The a few duplications of the layer and some "color dodge/burn" blending modes. or something to that effect. I'll play with it a bit. |

http://www.stridingstudio.com/tutorials/exclusivetech.html Dodge in all its glory. It doesn't specically say to use color dodge on your brush but it gets great results.
